Why you should listen to podcasts

The one thing about lockdown is that it has exposed people to several options and activities to stimulate their minds and keep connected to the rest of the world. If you have never tried listening to a podcast, we have listed a few benefits (other than being able to listen to a topic without the deejay linking to an advert) and a must-tune-into recommendation!

1. Learn new things

Podcasts come in a variety of lengths with different topics and subjects, so you are bound to find one that interests you. Not only can you access viewpoints both alike and separate from your own, but you have knowledge at your fingertips and the ability to learn new things.

2. Use your multi-tasking skills

For some people, working from home means having to channel their focus on more than one task because we have new colleagues, AKA family in our workspace (if you are working from home). The wonderful thing about podcasts is that they're easy to listen to while carrying out the business-as-usual tasks.

3. Improve listening skills

Podcasts are all about listening to other people's stories, and through this, you will gain a greater appreciation for simply listening.
